About Grzegorz K Brzezicki
Dr. Grzegorz (Greg) Brzezicki received his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland in 2005, and after a year of internship started neurosurgery training in Poland. In 2008 he became a research fellow in Microsurgery Laboratory at Cleveland Clinic where his research concentrated on peripheral nerve repair strategies and postoperative epidural scar formation, for which he received his Ph.D. degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in 2012. Dr. Brzezicki completed neurosurgery residency and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017 and currently serves as assistant professor at the University of Florida Department of Neurosurgery in Jacksonville.
Dr. Brzezicki specializes in cerebrovascular neurosurgery and treats the entire range of cerebrovascular pathology including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, cranial and spinal fistulas using open and endovascular techniques. He also treats carotid disease with carotid endarterectomy, carotid stenting and transcarotid revascularization (TCAR). Other performed procedures also include middle meningeal artery embolization for chronic subdural hematomas and venous sinus stenting for pseudotumor cerebri.
